Along with his assistants, Dr. Cornelius and former NASA agent Carol Hines, erase the mutant's memories and coat his skeleton and claws with the fictional metal known in the Marvel Universe as the hardest substance on Earth with the goal of turning him into a savage, soulless killing machine.
